Hunting a hare with a penguin

Our hunt for a hare is still more individual. Pens are not used, and therefore purely German use in this form of continental poles is hardly advisable, and ineffective. The dog will simply steal the hare about 300 meters, and then throw. There is no question of any work and rutting with a voice in circles. In addition, such a dog will eventually be beaten off from the hands, leaving a long distance without contact with the hunter. Harm from this will be more than good. To say that a city hunter who holds a Kurzhaar or a Drathkhaar should completely abandon this hunt is also apparently inexpedient. One has only to remember, always and everywhere, that these breeds are primarily the cops and it is not only unnecessary, but also ridiculous, to replace the hounds with them.

Hunting with a dog hare

The work of your continental dog on non-essential hunting objects, namely on the blood trail, wild boar or hare, should be considered solely as an additional one. For this to be good, demanding and approaches to the work of your dog should always be balanced. Work on the hare in our conditions should be limited solely to shooting from under the rack and wounding up the blood trace (no rut with a voice!). Only in this case, the hunt can be efficient.

Most often, such a hunt is carried out along the way and only when the timing of shooting coincides. If you have a desire to use your continental dog in this way, then it will have to be prepared for hunting from childhood, with inseparable preparation for versatile work.

The owner of the continental dog should imagine that the dog’s predisposition to the beast hunt is revealed when the dog is related to the cat. As the dog belongs to the cat, so he will show himself in relation to the beast and to the hare in particular. At the same time, in no case should you put a small puppy on cats: this will lead to the saddest consequences and will spoil the dog. It is enough just to look at her reaction when walking in casual encounters. If the dog gets up on the cat, then it can neither be encouraged nor punished for the ego. You just need to take on a leash and take away from the venue.

Especially attentive need to be with aggressive dogs, which at the sight of a cat immediately climb into a fight. With all the fighting qualities of a dog must be manageable. By the way, it is in this case that it is best checked how your pet learned the stopping team in the process of home dog training. If you can stop the dog with a team when throwing it to the cat or making it to the cat, then this will be to some extent a guarantee that the dog is insured against the hunt in the meadows. Do not be surprised when your dog shows no interest in cats at all. Such dogs are also found among continental breeds. Well, their destiny is the work on the bird. As a rule, in the absence of congenital inclinations, no additional training or preprocessing will give positive results.

On a hare with a dog

All classes need to start with working out aportirovaniya feather and fur diarrhea. For fur diarrhea, a piece of a rabbit or rabbit skin is best suited (at worst, an old rabbit hat will fit). For a small puppy, it is better to stock up on a rabbit or rabbit’s foot. They teach the puppy to bring these diarrheas as if it were practicing normal aporting. In order for the puppy to better grab the hare’s leg (it is also possible for boar in the skin), drag it in front of him on a string. As soon as he starts grabbing her, give the command “Give” and slightly pulls up the puppy along with the donut for the rope. Very soon he will begin to learn the exercise. The main thing here is not to overstrain the puppy and immediately stop classes as soon as you see that he is tired of these games.

It is very useful to change the diarrhea so that the dog does not get used to them: either engage with the leg, then with the skin. It is better to sew the pelt in the form of a bag, since it can be gradually weighed down by laying weights inside. The weight of such a diarrhea should be commensurate with the puppy’s physical development, his fitness and age. During the year, the dog can calmly serve a ponuka weighing up to 6 kg.

It is necessary as soon as possible to work out the development of fur diarrhea. My dogs, for example, as early as 1.5 months could serve light diarrhea on command (boar legs and rabbit’s foot). In this case, the puppy does it with enthusiasm and is waiting for such a game. But “pinching” a puppy with such excessively frequent exercises is not worth it. It is enough if he correctly gives you a diarrhea 3-4 times per lesson. As soon as the dog begins to pass tolerably, it is necessary to complicate the exercise. It should be right in the room to lay a little fiber drab or foot rabbit and hide the diarrhea out of sight of the puppy. It should be done so that the puppy does not see all your manipulations.

Then send it to do the sorting. You will see how your dog will begin to search for the ponochku and move in its wake. Be sure to encourage these first steps of your pet in searching for diarrhea.
