Boar hunting

In the Volgograd region, from June 1, the boar hunting season opened. At the same time it is allowed to carry out it only with the help of towers.

The wild boar season in the region will last until February 28, 2018. However, the hunters were warned of some restrictions.

First, in order to prevent the spread of African swine fever, boars can only be shot from the tower. At the same time, it is allowed to hunt males, juveniles and females without offspring. Meat can be eaten only after laboratory tests at ASF.

In addition, visits to certain sites are limited due to the sanitization of forest pests, which will continue until June 19.

Currently, boar hunting is permitted in Ardatovsky, Bogorodsky, Volodarsky, Gorodetsky, Pilninsky, Tonshaevsky, Sharang districts and Shakhunye. It is strictly forbidden to hunt wild boars in Vyksa, Kulebaki and Navashino.
