Altai with deer and ibex
Altai for me has become a place where I am constantly drawn. The reason to come here has always been a hunt. Mountains, horse crossings, field camp, and, of course, a variety of hunting species – this is the motive of my aspirations to Altai. Where I had to hunt in these places, there are no roads, only horse trails, so the movement to the place of hunting and on the hunt itself is only on horseback and on foot. I have been riding horses since childhood and so far, which gives me the opportunity to feel confident in the saddle and get great pleasure from it. Moreover, it is very organic and natural to hunt horses. On a horse, you can climb almost any secluded place in the mountains and bring with you all the necessary equipment. Continue reading
RUSSIAN TROPHY “SEVEN”
Trophy hunting appeared in our country relatively recently. More precisely, in the Soviet Union there was none at all, and the best elks ‘horns were used to decorate the hunting organizations’ offices, hangers and knob handles, at best. And only after wealthy people appeared in the new Russia, who do not always know how to occupy their leisure time, trophy hunting became one of the entertainments. Altitude in the mountains of Kazakhstan
The evolutionary path of the hunter will certainly lead to a mountain hunt. Improving skills, gaining new knowledge of animal biology, the right hunter, in my opinion, raises his own bar, setting new goals for himself. If mountain hunting is considered to be the “top of hunting” in the hunting environment, then mountain trophy hunting is Everest. Therefore, after twenty years of amateur hunting, my hunting path led me into a trophy. Continue reading
